"The strength and pride of our alumni base is one of the keystones of Washington College Tennis. Our tennis alums continue to be engaged with "their program" in many ways long after they have graduated. The funds they contribute annually not only immensely help our program maintain its high level, but also provide further proof of the fact that once one is part of Washington College Tennis, they always remain part of the family.
Both teams qualified for the conference tournament last year, highlighted by the Men’s team beating Haverford for the first time in 11 years to finish 3rd in the Centennial Conference. Also, both teams were ranked Regionally by the ITA. Individually, Karl Hoegstedt qualified for the NCAA Singles tournament winning two rounds before losing in the quarterfinals. For his efforts, Karl was named an ITA All-American making him our program’s 23rd All-American.”
